Question: What on earth is Outlook Express Stationary? To use the stationery you've downloaded, open Microsoft Outlook and click the Inbox icon. On the Actions menu, point to New Mail Message Using, and the click the stationery you want to use. If the stationery you want is not listed, click More Stationery, and then in the Stationery box, select the one you want to use. When you install stationery, the image files (*.gif or *.jpg) and the *.htm file are stored in your Stationery folder (by default this is :\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery). Stationery is only available if you use HTML as your email editor. Possible problems Question: I downloaded a couple of your Outlook stationary today, unziped them, and put them in the proper directory. When we went to use them they did not work properly. They were by Spirit Wolf. When they opened in outlook they either loaded text only or only half loaded the stationary Here is the answer to by the Spirit Wolf, an author of some of the very good stationary outthere. Hi , If your using win-zip 8 version and that's where the problem can be.. Win zip 8 for one reason or another will NOT want to function on many of the themes out there today.. You can try these steps.. and if it still does not work.. let me know which ones your tring to get and I will double check them or send you them as an attachement.. IF you can Re-install Win-zip 7 it seems to clear up the problem.. http://www.filefarm.com/filefarm/windows/description/286/ here is a location where you can download Win-Zip 7 to reinstall it for just this purose... HOPE this will work for you ALSO this information may be helpful.. I received this information from a gal that had the same problem and this is what she did: 1. Go to "options" on opening WinZip box. 2. Hit "Misc." tab. 3. Check off "Winzip 7.0-compatible Wizard (no update or create). This appears to take you back to the former version of Winzip and I set the destination of the file to my "plus themes" files, rather than "unzipped" and create a new folder with the theme's name on it. All this can be done using the "select different folder" button. That way, WinZip delivers the whole theme directly to the file without a middle "install" step... there is also a facility to turn off the 'theme' feature in WinZip. After you have done all of this Re-boot your system and see if this works. If this does not work for you this is another method that worked for one of my regulars.. "after people download the zip files for desktop themes and can’t get them to work properly, even after unzipping, extracting, installing, etc…., go to the Start/Find and name the file and find it and all it’s associated files. Then whatever you seem to be missing in the Desktop theme then put your cursor over the file you need ( you can usually tell what type files they are, (and I’ve found that you’ve needed the .gif or jpeg file for some of these, and it’s there, just doesn’t show up in the theme or stationery), you can right click it, and “quick copy” it, which brings up a box and you choose the same way/path, by using programs/Plus/Themes, and it gives you the option to extract it on “that” box, so you do that, and when you then look at your drop down menu, it should be there!" Hope this will do it for you.. I am most sorry for this but it is not the authors fault.. but a neglect of win-zip 8's programmers.. Regards, SpiritWolf Still need help?
